Photo Quality
Among the six printing services on-line considered for this test, the one with the best photo quality turned out to be PhotoWorld, whose prints are very detailed and with only minor color deviations. Second place goes to QuiFoto.it, whose prints are still of good quality, only slightly lower than those of the winner.

Performance
All services tested allow you to select how the photos are cut to fit the paper size, although no one offers variations in length. In general, all services were significantly slower in delivery than the times stated: to receive the photos, perhaps because December is also the period in which the test was made, is notoriously known for a blockage of the couriers, and sometimes for six or more days are needed.

Final Judgement
The online BEST printing service has proven to be PhotoWorld, thanks to good print quality, but also the completeness of the additional services. The primacy of the money value goes however to QuiFoto.it, only slightly lower in performance that would come in second place, penalized by problems in the language of the site.

Computer Bild, the best selling computer magazine in Europe, on the issue number 5 talks just about Photoworld. In the special sites dedicated to online digital photo print, Photoworld is ranked as the best among the eight analyzed and tested from the site, the 8 main competitor in the Italian market. A great success, in terms of quality, appreciation of the photos, the website and to the conduct of policy, that make us proud of our work. Below is the text of the article by Computer Bild.

1° Place - Photoworld.it
Photoworld.it is full of contents, and you can see it right away. At first glance, what might appear chaotic is actually a significant collection of options available to users who want to print their pictures over the Internet.
The possibilities offered are numerous, in addition to traditional prints in all possible formats, you can create special gadgets such as albums, books, business cards and anything else you want, and get them in a very short time.
The registration process is quick and clear, easy to do even for the less Internet savvy.
Product quality has nothing to envy to the centers of photography: the colors are perfectly respected, the sharpness is also among the best compared to the sites considered in this test.

Fotografare - April 2007
Fotografare in the number of April offers a review of the top online photo printing services, including Photoworld, which is defined as the best for print quality, sharpness and brightness of the picture.

The investigation was conducted in complete anonymity, they sent the same photos to all the photo labs on the Internet, the result was.... Photoworld.it is the best!

Here's the review:

"From Palinuro ( Italy), we got the package with the most brilliant prints we got so far. Crisp, sharp, bright and well contrasted tones without exageration.
All prints on Kodak Royal paper, measuring 150x200mm - that is exactly the 15x20 we chose - and they are absolutely perfect. The only drawback is rather due to the fact that all the pictures were 15X20cm, even those with different proportions.
The building and the square photo have been enlarged until it filled the twenty centimeters long side and what was required above and below the central strip has been cut....inevitable risk when you print square photos on rectangular paper.
Here we spent 39 cents per copy, but the price may be double depending on the shipping method you choose for the return of the prints.

October 2007: Sviluppare le foto via internet

Which results can be expected from the internet photo shops in terms of quality, printing and delivery times? The answer this question, Il Salvagente and Consumer tested 9 different online sites: Photocity, Fotolandia, Photoworld, Fotopixel, Foto.com, Unieuro, Virgilio, Mypixmania and Mediaworld. To each one was sent an old cover of Il Salvagente in jpeg format , with a resolution of 1979x1564 pixel, and ordered a print measuring 30x40 cm.
If we consider the quality of the print, only 3 websites pass the average, and Photoworld (photoworld.it) is one of those.
But in the choice of the onhline store to entrust the last vacation pictures, we need to respect a budget as well: Photoworld holds the enviable record of the lowest price on the web, only 1,83 euro.

September 2007: comparison of 50 prints in 10×15 format

Based on an investigation made on 50 in the format 10x15, within the websites taken in consideration, the chepest is www.photoworld.it
Not considering the shipping costs, the website prints pictures starting from € 0,09 per photo, a total of €4,50 for 50 photos.

A small difference in price for a single product becomes substantial on big quantities and Photoworld is number one within online printing websites.
