Bookbinding System for Photo Books
Photo Books are made with the chemical development process on Kodak Ultra Endura Professional Paper. The binding is made with a hot process. The photo sheet gets a light mark in the middle where it'll be folded (leaving the image intact of course). Pictures are then placed back to back and in between we place a layer of about 2mm made of paper and glue, in a non-toxic material as per European Community Regulations. The next step is the fixation with the hot process. The result is a semi-rigid sheet. The weight of the paper-glue material is 130 grams for Photo Books up to 30x30 and 300 gr for bigger ones. This difference is important to better preserve the Photo Books exposed to high tempreatures or damp/humid environments. Of course, we advise to always keep your Photo Books in a dry environment (50% max humidity).
Photoworld relies on its expert professional artisans, on the use of the latest technology (like the Noritsu for the digital printing with chemical develpment using the 300 dpi laser technology)
and the quality of its material (remember that each print is made on Kodak
Royal, Kodak Ultra Endura and Kodak Supra Endura paper).
The printing quality is garanteed by the frequent replenishment of the chemicals used in the photo development.
For the bookbinding we use
Unibind machinery that use a thermal binding (unique in Italty).
All the above ensures a clean, precise and sharp job.
